Road marking refers to the horizontal and vertical road marking products and systems that are used to inform, guide and regulate road users in order to make roads more functional and safe for usage. Horizontal road markings include transverse and longitudinal lines, symbols, words and arrows on roads. Vertical road signs on the other hand are principally road signs.
